How to Register Online to the NJ Board of Nursing MyLicense Website as a Certified Home Health Aide



The 2018 year has brought several changes to the process of becoming a Certified Home Health Aide. As a school prepared for changes and up-to-date with the latest news, our school has created a step-by-step process on how to apply via online.

1. Ten Important Points to Remember 

Ensure that you are Certified as a Home Health Aide
An approved 76-hour training course must be completed
Online registration must be completed no later than 2-months after completion
A scanner and a computer are needed
A login and a password must be created for your account
You must upload the necessary documents online to be approved
Approvals may take 2 to 4 weeks to complete
Your training facility or school is required to upload a Letter of Completion
Promissory letter of employment is required by the school
Follow up with the New Jersey Board of Nursing often to check for license status


This is an update on the 2018 changes to the New Jersey Board of Nursing application process. New Jersey Board of Nursing has changed how to apply for the license via online.
