Maya Angelou once said that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. This is the case with home care services. There are more people switching to home care services because of its reliability. After the COVID-19 crisis struck, fear came with it. The most vulnerable population, the seniors, were hit the hardest because of the lack of preparedness nursing homes had. Nevertheless, there are alternatives to being fearful. While not all nursing homes are ill-prepared, home care agencies are constantly ready for emergency situations. It’s far less risky to have one-on-one care than it is to be in a group.

The most common question I receive on a daily basis is how safe is it to acquire a home health aide to come to my home during the COVID-19 crisis. It’s difficult for some people to see a stranger, or in this case, a home health aide, visiting their home to care for someone they love.

It’s normal to feel worried. I totally get it. However, take it from someone who has two family members who use home health aides currently. It’s safe. You can absolutely trust that a home care agency has your best interest a heart. They gain nothing out of sending someone sick to your home!

This will probably be one of the hardest weeks for New York and New Jersey residents. Sadly, we’ve reached the peak of the COVID-19 virus. As more people continue to get sick and others pass away, it’s hard to imagine that there is a way to make this week better. I’ve turned off the news because I couldn’t bare to see more people suffering or dying. It’s more difficult because three months ago it seemed life had a positive side to it. This is an enemy that is hidden. We can’t see it, yet together we fight united to withstand the troubling times ahead.

Home Health Aide Ready to Provide In-Home Support Care Services


A smile can tell a story. This month has been a fantastic month at E & S Home Care Solutions. We have had several home health aides finish their training with skilled, professional nurses. After one month of training and hands-on experience with real patients, the graduates are ready to provide in-home support care services.

Do you feel compassionate towards people? Do you love seeing them smile? If you are reading this article, is because you find great pleasure in seeing others succeed. I do too. It is one of the reasons I have started to write success stories on a weekly basis. It is awe-inspiring to watch the caregivers see themselves online and become motivated to do more for their communities. I meet hundreds of students who are on their way to becoming warm-welcoming caregivers. The first thing they tell me is that they really enjoy what they do.

We motivate our caregivers to be at their best and work hard towards their goals. When the graduates are asked how they enjoy the experience with us, they always mention how we opened their eyes to the better opportunities that are involved with the home care industry.
