Success in Health Care
What is success?
The term success is broad. It can have countless of meanings depending on the individual's perception. It can't be defined in a single word. For some, money is success while to others happiness is their main focus. This account is based off personal experience and my past year working as a professional in the health care field. While everyone has their taste in what success truly means, I personify as accomplishing a dream or a goal that you never thought you could otherwise.
Why do I see it as a profession for success?
I've witnessed people, who had nothing, but problems in their daily lives, achieve dreams they perceived as impossible. I've seen the impossible become possible. With a little push and determined optimism, these individuals became success stories. This was due to the fact that Health Care, in its purest form, is a therapeutic line of work. It pushes a person to become a better version of themselves because not only do you need to have patience, but you require to have an unwavering compassion for the world that can test you at times.
How you can benefit
You don't necessarily need to be a nurse or a doctor to feel the benefits of being in the Health Care field. It does not require a 4-year degree or a ton of money either. What it really needs is your commitment. It could be in many lines of work including certification classes or in other fields unrelated to health care. This is a general list of what you can go for if you want to get involved with a career that continues to grow.
