Funding for More Home Care for Elderly

Funding for More Home Care for Elderly

2018 is focused on aged care. It’s the centerpiece of most conversations in the government. For this year, the government is expected to spend over $100 billion dollars across training. This will increase the coverage for home care services. Home care services will streamline care services for the next five years. According to Ken Wyatt, there is a large waiting list for in-home aged care.

Why the large waiting list?

The reason for the large waiting list is because there is a high demand for home care services and experienced Home Health Aides. Hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other facilities are turning to home care services as an additional add-on to what they can provide their members with.

New Policies for Home Care and One Million Jobs!
